The Boys of Summer

It is that time year again. We have been spending a lot of time at the ball park, as Beau is enjoying his favorite sport! This is his Fire AAU team.

He plays for the Cardinals in rec. ball- thrilled as Albert Pujols is his favorite player on the Saint Louis Cardinals. He is #5 on both teams- another bonus!

Beau is requesting another baseball themed party for #7 this year. We had #5 at Louisville Slugger Field.

These are photos of the January ice storm here in Louisville. Needless to say, I have had my fill of cold weather. I did hear the birds singing this a.m., and noticed daffodils popping up on the lawn of one of my favorite antiquing spots. Spring is near!

Home Sweet Home

This is my dream home. It is 1 mile from my present home, and I pass it each day. I get butterflies and just know I was meant to live here! The house is over 100 years old and sits on 5+ acres. There is a 4 car garage and a wonderful second building that resembles a school house.
